Dr. Mercy Uwakwe who also heads Mercy Wave Conglomerate described the Scholarship Scheme as one of the numerous ways she has chosen to empower the youths and encourage them to strive for excellence in life. The winner who could not hide his excitement described his winning the Scholarship as a dream come true for him and thanked Dr. Mercy for the opportunity of being part of such life-changing empowerment.
The winner Mr Michael Ukoha a student of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture will now need not worry about school fees and upkeep money as the scholarship prize will cover for the length of his stay in the School.
This is coming on the heels of Ifeanyichukwu Ekele emerging winner of FACE OF MERCY WAVE contest and went home with N200,000 cash prize.
