While fielding questions on how committed the Government is towards sanitizing Imo State, ENTRACO Boss Hon. Alex Emeziem said that the current environmental rot in the state will soon be a thing of the saying that plans has already been finalized to relocate all illegal Motor Parks to their substantial site and clamp down o all unauthorized commercial hubs in the state.
Hon. Emeziem who hosted elitism6 and other Media personels at his owerri residence reiterated the Government astute stand towards making Owerri have the Capital City look as planed by the Government.
He went futher to say that they will hold strategic meeting with all trade and commercial unions in the government designated sites in a bid to make the lock up stores alloted for traders more affordable and also make plans for a more organized market structure.
Below are some of the Illegal Motor Parks ENTRACO will soon be clamping down on.
Illegal parks at Emanuel college round about & St Molumba roundabout should move to old Ogbo Osisi park.
Illegal parks at fire service round about & Baptist Church should move to Mbaise park.
Illegal parks within control post roundabout, Onitsha road & Assumpta avenue should also move to Arugo park.
Illegal park at warehouse roundabout should move to orlu road park.
Operators of these Illegal parks are expected to complete the relocation exercise within 72 hours of this announcement for easy traffic
Defaulters will be penalised.
