LEO STAN EKEH DONATES N50m to Victims of Demolished Ekeukwu Owerri Market

Less than 24hours, the former Governor of Imo State, Dr Ikedi Ohakim issued a press statement  informing Ndi-Imo of the establishment of "Ekeukwu Owerri Market Disaster Fund" and calling for donations from well meaning individuals, Imo sons and daughters as well as Nigerians, an ICT guru and billionaire Chief Sir Leo Stan EKEH from Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State has made a donation of Fifty million naira (N50m) to help rehabilitate victims of the said Ekeukwu Owerri Market demolition.

The former governor, Ohakim in his press statement stated that "No matter the shocks and scare tactics thrown our way, we must all be united as humans to assist those affected by this inhuman calamity by donating to Ekeukwu Owerri Market disaster Fund. Nothing is too small. I thank those who have done so already. We must all unite to say no to bad ideas and bad actors. We must all say no to one-man mega brands. Those who believe that money and power provide license to impose one's will on others while ignoring both laws and common sense"
