The event attracted lots of attention from within and outside the state.
The event which was widely publicised by the renowned GISTGATE Media Group and trended on social media around the state and is still trending as at today had thousands in attendance and as usual with events by GistGate Media Group the auditorium was packed full.
After a lot of entertainment which included music performances by the likes of X-busta, Leeroy, Ok-David and more talented artists; dance and different appearances by the contestants in their native, casual and dinner wears the winners emerged in in contest that has lasted for weeks since the online voting commenced.
Miss Grace Emetubelem, a 100 level student of Education French emerged winner as MOST BEAUTIFUL FACE IN IMSU 2017. She was also selected by 7up company as an ambassador. She succeeds Queen Sandra Nwobi who was 2016 winner of the crown.
Mr. Frank Ezediokwe, a 100 level student of Civil engineering emerged winner as MOST HANDSOME FACE IN IMSU 2017.
Joshua Jonathan (chosen Face of 7up) and Emmanuel Ogbonna emerged 1st and 2nd runners up in the male category while Miss Emmanuella Onyeme and Miss Esther Umelo emerged 1st and 2nd runners up in the female category.
Michael Duru was announced Face of GistGate MG (male) while Miss Emmanuella also emerged face of GistGate Media Group female.
