IMO 2019 GUBER: Imo Dep. Governor Madumere begins campaign visits APC office in Imo


 ●As APC Chairman, Eke Says Zoning Not Important In 2019.

Yesterday,the Imo State deputy governor,Prince Eze Madumere visited the All Progressives Congress,APC,Secretariats in Owerri,to call on Owerri zonal leaders of the party to ensure that the geopolitical zone gets maximum membership registration,following the ongoing party registration in the state.

Answering questions from newsmen,if his visit was line with on his alleged interest for the  2019 Gov poll election.

Madumere said" I don't believe in hitting up the system,I seat in the most sensitive position,2019 is too far."

He however called for calmness in the state from all aspiring to govern the state come 2019,in addition warned party leaders to be careful of some decampees from other political partys joining APC,as some are out to bring in confusion.

"We must be careful about those that are joining us,there are some people who are coming to cause confusion".Madumere said.
Meanwhile the state party chairman,Dr. Hillary Ekeh has opined that zoning for governorship position in 2019 is not important.

In his words,"Zoning is not important to me as a person,to APC as a party,because what we need is a credible candidate that will deliver dividends of democracy to the people,a humble candidate that will be humble enough to lead the people".
