IMSU SUG ELECTIONS: Zander's late minute decision that pitched him against Oge's camp.

While to the general populace and observers might see the  sudden appearance of Imo State University  SUG Director of Information in the race for SUG Presidency as being normal like every other candidate seeking  an SUG office, it didn't go down well with some major stake holders in his own Faculty. A source who hinted us on the development said Zanders appearance and declaration of interest is going contrary to an already finalized agreement between him and his Faculty Stake Holders in which it was agreed to present OGE (Chibundu Junila) as the Faculty's candidate for SUG Presidency  in the capacity of Vice President.

The source who pleaded anonymity went further to say that before now Zanders was actually the one acting as Oge's campaign manager before the sudden change of heart which she said could under mine Oge's success at the Polls because it has never been seen where one Faculty produces President and his Vice President equally. ''Though his popularity has soured among Imsu students his latest decision to contest for SUG President will sabotage Oge's success at the polls because they are contesting two closely related offices" the student said.

The student went further to say that though there is another Faculty in the school that has a Presidential  Aspirant and and Vice President aspirants all coming out, the case of Faculty of Health Sciences which Zanders and Oge is from is entirely different. She further hinted that Zanders could contest for the next Republic since his course is 5 years course and he is currently in his 4th year.
