Imo Legislature and Executive in cold war over withheld legislators' entitlement

Cold war seems to be brewing in the state legislature following postponement of sitting by the leadership of the Assembly.

Imo Assembly had Thursday last week deferred it's sitting to Tuesday only for the same House to defer sitting again yesterday for undisclosed reasons.

A source which craved anonymous opined that the seeming topsy-turvy situation in the House may not be unconnected with the issue of lawmakers entitlements which are believed to be causing ripples in the Assembly.
Continuing, the source hinted that some lawmakers may be reluctant to attend sittings and other businesses of the House as they were believed not to be happy with the manner the state government may have been treating them especially,  with the biting economic recession in the country.

Recall that mid drama had ensued some weeks ago when some apparently aggrieved lawmakers were suspected to have hatched a plot to move a motion bothering on non payment of their entitlements by the state government but were prevented from doing so following speaker's intervention.
