Revealed: The ugly mistake that led to Stella Oduah son's death.



The senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District in the upper chamber of the National Assembly, Stella Oduah, on Friday, August 26, lost her son, Maxwell Chinedu Etoromi, The Punch reports.

But according to a report on Sahara Reporters, the deceased who was 28-year-old, died at a Turkish private hospital in Abuja, after he took a wrong medication prescribed for him following a tooth surgery.

The 28-year-old graduated from Guildford College in the UK before returning to Abuja.

Oduah also confirmed the report, saying her son died after a brief illness.

Speaking on the loss, one of Senator Oduah’s colleagues, Senator Uche Ekwunife representing Anambra Central in the Senate, said: “It is very unfortunate. It has shown that death and life belong to God and it is only Him who controls our life. It is a trying moment for her and all of us. I know how it feels as a mother. It is only God who can console her.”

Late Maxwell Chinedu Etoromi was the first son of Stella Oduah.

Oduah served in the Goodluck Jonathan administration as a Minister of Aviation before running for a seat in the Nigerian Senate.

Recently, the Nigeria Judicial Council (NJC) recently dismissed Justice Mohammed Yunusa for granting an injunction stopping the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from probing her, over allegations of fraudulent oil deals during her tenure as minister.
