At the end of the ASUU meeting today Mon 21st March 2016 held at New Etf by 12pm ,The ASUU members of Imo state University has decided to embark on an Indefinite Strike till their January February Salary are cleared before commencing on any Academic activities.
According to information we obtained from the SUG director of Information, Comr chidi onyeji (Zanders) after the ASUU meeting ended today by 12pm.
Students are advised to still stay around school because the strike could be called of anytime soon.
"To our year one students who are willing to write their first semester examination ,we know how you people may feel right now, please we urge you people to stay around owerri as the Indefinite strike will soon be called off any moment from now if only they receive their Salary" The SUG Director of information was quoted saying.
