Rob Kardashian has offered to donate one of his kidney to his brother in law Lamar Odom, after he suffered damages to his lungs and kidneys due to drug overdose. The duo were inseparable buddies when Rob was living at Lamar and Khloe Kardashian home while the couple was still happily married.
According to Hollywoodlife “Rob is willing to do whatever it takes to help Lamar recover. If that means donating a kidney then so be it, Rob has a big heart and he’s willing to step up to help his friend,” While it remains to be seen if Rob and Lamar are a compatible match for a Kidney transplant “Rob is willing to undergo medical tests to find out,”.
Lamar has been on kidney dialysis following his reported near fatal drug overdose on Oct. 13. While he emerged from a three day coma,he suffered numerous strokes,as well as damage to his lungs and kidneys. Unfortunately after constant medical monitoring, the need for a kidney transplant has now come in to play.
Rob will have to undergo extensive tests, not just to make sure he’s compatible with Lamar, but that his kidneys are in healthy enough shape for him to be able to donate one. Rob has been working hard to lose excessive weight he’s packed on in the past couple of years. His sister Kim Kardashian, 34, also alleged that he doesn’t have the most healthy of lifestyles’ The reality queen joked to Rolling Stone over the summer that “Do I think he smokes weed, drinks beer, hangs out and plays video games with his friends all day long? Yes.
