Melissa Rivers stands to inherit over $100 million in cash and assets from her late mother, Joan Rivers . sources close to the family reported that Melissa will inherit $75 million in cash, as well as Joan's French-inspired $35 million condo on New York's Upper East Side. Cooper, Melissa's 13-year-old son, also received his own inheritance from the legendary comedian.
It was announced this week that Joan's official cause of death was from complications due to surgery.
After the cause of death was revealed, a grief-stricken Melissa opened up about her mother's passing. "We continue to be saddened by our tragic loss," she tweeted. "No further comment at this time.
A source told Us Weekly that receiving the estate is, "no consolation for losing her mother so soon."
