In a determined effort to cushion the effects of the
lockdown on students as necessitated by the coronavirus outbreak in the
country, the Senator representing the Faculty of Environmental science at the
Student legislative council of Imo State University, Sen. Daniel Ezeocha known
also as ‘INFLUENCE’, has commenced distribution of food materials to Imo stars
across the seven (7) major students’ alliance in the state owned institution.
The donations are meant to provide succour for students who were unable to travel to their family homes as a result of the lockdown induced by the coronavirus pandemic.
Sen. Daniel (INFLUENCE) maintained that the initiative is aimed at supporting the efforts of the state government in providing assistance to the needy in the various communities of Imo in view of the corona virus pandemic.
Items made available for distribution as palliatives to Students residing in Front Gate, Aladinma, Okwu Uratta, Bishop’s Court, Works Layout and Orji Alliance include cartons of noodles, Spaghetti among other food items.
