July 14: Former IMSU Student Leader Joins Imo Local Government Election Race

Following the announcement of Imo Local government election and the release of guidelines where the state LGA election is expected to hold Saturday, July 14th, 2018; a strong voice and former Director of Information, Students Union Government Imo State University, Chidi Onyeji (Zanders FM) on Sunday joined the list of contenders into the local government chairmanship election of Mbaitolu LGA in Imo State.


He will be slugging it out under the APC platform. Chidi from Umuokoro Achi Mbierri revealed his ambition via his Facebook handle.


According to him, it is inspiring that amidst difficulties, indigenes of Mbaitolu most notably have refused to succumb to hopelessness.


He said 


"As a citizen of Imo state and a bonafide indigene of umuokoro achi mbierri in mbaitoli local government area who have taken time to underscore the various problems bedeviling the people of mbaitoli and assess the possible panacea to these issues, I have taken a decision which is to break the record after much consultation today from friends, family members, men of God,elders and as well youths from mbaitoli."

"I have decided to take this very bold step to contest for the forthcoming local government election in Imo state come 14 of July 2018.

My good people of ndi mbaitoli,my desire to become the chairman of Mbaitoli local government council is for the betterment of our dear local government and believe me I have come that I may give you that which you want and wish for our dear local government."

"I comrade CHIDI ONYEJI ZANDERS have a strong believe that it's time for the youths and younger ones to take over".
