Three courses in Imo state University, which had hitherto lost accreditation, have regained full accreditation by the National Universities Commission, the vice Chancellor Professor (Mrs.) Victoria Adaobi Obasi said in her address at the 26th silver jubilee matriculation ceremony of the school.
The courses which now enjoy full accreditation include Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science and Medicine.
The Erudite Scholar and Sub-Dean Faculty of Education Professor Adaobi Obasi ably represented by dean of various faculties said "May I gladly inform all parents and guardians that our programs in Nursing science, Medicine and medical laboratory science which hitherto failed professional accreditation have been re-accredited to the glory of God Almighty".

The courses were re-assessed by the NUC
during its accreditation visit to the University in November 2017, the
story is different today as it now enjoys full professional
