2017 Admissions: JAMB Brings In CAPS – Central Admission Processing System

The Joint admission and matriculation board has provided an Admission Acceptance Page. It is on the page that successful candidates will be able to accept admission after being admitted to your respective institution.

Purpose of the new System – Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) is to ensure that qualified candidates gain admission into various institutions.

Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) creates ‘market place’ in the JAMB portal where institutions can go and request for students who scored above their cut off mark.

Candidates are to visit the ‘CAPS’ acceptance page as soon as the admission list is out; after entering your registration number don’t click accept until you're admitted, if you click accept before you're admitted, the accepted option (of not being admitted) cannot be reversed.

We recommend candidates to click accept after being offered admission.
