Cultists attack first year IMSU student while returning back to school

Students of Imo state university Owerri who left the campus for the short Easter vacation are en-route back to the school sequel to 2016/2017 second semester resumption, It has been reported that bandits suspected to be student cultist connected to IMSU attacked a 100L student of Imo State University, Owerri, identified simply as Miss Nkechi Onwumelu on her way back to the campus from home where she went for Easter vacation.

The victim said she was returning from her home, Umugakwo Eziama in Ngor Okpala local government area of Imo state before she was attacked along the walkway very close to the main gate by unknown bandits, who made away with her hand bag containing cash valuable items and educational documents as well as receipts, noting that the manner she was attacked was strange.
Furthermore, she however thanked God that she was not sexually assaulted though she sustained minor injury.
  
All efforts she had applied including going to the police geared towards recovering the missing documents have not yielded any positive result.
She said that the items lost include; a handbag, O'level certificate, school fees and departmental receipts, medical reports, local government certificate of origin and faculty clearance form.
