A POEM BY CHUKWUEMEKA FAMOUS
O great clairvoyant! Whose mind is untrammeled Out of your vast orb runs out A beatific world yet to come If only we could fathom The emergence that awaits us Then the lukewarmness of our Spirits will be extirpated But we cannot tell The nature of this emergence Only you, great clairvoyant Can weigh what the future holds Therefore, we implore you To make a vivid picture of The world to come Keep us abreast of this And if this emergence will not Assuage the lugubriousness That inflicts our present existence Then let aplomb find it's roots in us CHUKWUEMEKA FAMOUS
