IMSU students frown at high cost of kerosene

Some students of IMO state University, owerri have decried the
exorbitant price of kerosene as a litre sells for N400 at filling
stations.The students in separate interviews
on Tuesday, described the situation as
"unacceptable'', saying it had made life even
more unbearable for them especially with the
country's ongoing economic recession.

Mr ifeanyi of the department of Political science said that life had
become more unbearable and challenging for students as they spent
their feeding money to buy kerosene at N400 per litre to cook their
food.

Mrs. uchechi unanka of the department of medical laboratory said
"Government should urgently intervene to ensure that the price of
kerosene returns to normal before students start dying of hunger as
result of lack of kerosene to cook with.
