Gripped with exuberance enthusiasm, ingenious students in
imo state university owerri trooped en-masse to saturate the aesthetic
auditorium of the university just to witness the confer and transition of power
in the history of IMSU student unionism.
Elected SUG 16th republic executives were seen
all decked up in cooperate attire as the staff adviser on student affair imo
state university administered oath of allegiance individually.
The acting vice chancellor was present at the induction ably
represented by the university registrar professor ejimnkeonye. Present also imo
state university librarian professor okee okorie, Dr. azubuogu, professor eze anyika,
SUG executives federal university of technology owerri and host of delegates
from imo state government.
The vice chancellor in her address speech urged newly
elected executives to remain loyal to stipulated norms by the school management
stating that the SUG office is never a life time career.
The staff adviser on student affairs professor eze anyika
seized opportunity to laud the SUG 15th republic led by chukwuemeka
nnana also know as legacy pointing out that the university is complacent with
its numerous achievements. The sarcastic and controversial professor frowned at
the 15th republic executives drawing
a deadline to them of Friday 27th January to remit all
moveable and non moveable properties of the university that is still in their
custody to the student affairs department.
It will be recalled that Rotr. Iwu frankline (capacity) won
the just concluded December election here in imo state university which was
said to be free and fair.

Good morning all, pls this is to anyone in capacity to help Imsu students in this aspect; the u-turn and n-turn opposite d sch gate and extension gate is very wrong. Those places are supposed to be blocked and they should go down to d junction to make a turn. I witnessed smth last week weds, it was God who saved a student from accident, all those cars n busses taking one way. Pls n pls, our dear SUG reps, do smth abt dis. If u go to cities, roads n turning points are not constructed this way. I know my voice is heard
