The sky was totally blown high at IMO state university owerri, when reportedly departmental election turned into festival of gun Wednesday leading to gunning down of final year student of management department.

According to eye witness account, just as normal lecture day at the ever populated education trust fund building (ETF) encompassing election amidst students of management department who came out in multitude just to exercise their franchise, it was gathered that an opponent was blown out of the water, misunderstanding arose amongst aspirants which lead to impromptu gun fiesta leading to gunning down of a student.

The departmental election that lead to the shootout has been postponed indefinitely as the victim of the sad incident is said to be hospitalized and responding to medical treatment in one of the Titanic hospitals in the state.
